How To eBay - How to Buy and Sell Real Estate on eBay

You have two choices when listing Real Estate on eBay, Ads or Auctions.

 1)  Ad Format (As a Advertisement)

The eBay Ad Format
Many eBay property listings are displayed in the eBay Ad Format. The eBay Ad format allows both property Owners and REALTORS ® to place For Sale Ads that are seen by millions. Newspaper Real Estate Ads are very expensive compared to eBay. eBay charges an Ad Insertion fee of $150.00 for a 30 day ad. If the property sells eBay
collects No Final Value Fee on Residential, Commercial or Other Real Estate.

 2) Auction Format (As a Auction)

The eBay Auction Format
An eBay real estate auction is different from most other eBay auctions. eBay real estate auctions are non-binding. Neither the Buyer or the Seller are legally obligated to actually complete the transaction.

The winning bidder indicates their willingness in good faith to enter into contract discussions. This means that if you are the winning bidder you get to negotiate with the seller as to the final terms of the sale and only then enter into a legally binding contract.

In some ebay auctions you bid only on the down payment amount. The total price is stated in the auction. Don't be confused if you see a property worth $10,000 receiving bids of less than $1,000. Read the auction carefully to understand the terms and conditions completely before you bid.

Avoid Beginner's Mistakes -

1) Enter your listing in the correct "Real Estate" category
The eBay Real Estate Categories include, Residential, Commercial, and Other Real Estate.

2) Enter the State Correctly
(Real Estate is location specific.) Buyers search each State one at a time. A buyer looking for property in Florida is probably not interested in property in another state.)

3) Enter realistic prices
Most buyers ignore real estate listings with ridiculously low prices. They know there is some catch so the won't bother to even look at these listings seriously.

4) Help Buyers Find Your Listing - Enter any Special Features of your property.
Special Features can make your property stand out from the crowd so be sure to include them. Features such as waterfront, beach, special view, unique construction are all in demand.

5) Include both exterior and interior photographs
Prospective Buyers will need a complete understanding of the properties condition before they will seriously consider bidding. Take multiple clear, focused photographs and include as many as possible in your eBay listing.

Ebay has Properties For Sale in all 50 States and overseas. Houses, Lots, Land, Condos, Time Shares, Waterfront, Beach, Retirement Homes, Second Homes, and Investment Real Estate.
